Preschool students with special needs have the right to have
their educational and developmental needs met. There are a lot of children who
are special needs who are experiencing developmental delays. Services should
not have to begin for them when they’re in 4th grade. Services
should begin immediately for the when they enter preschool and there is a
detection of deficiency.
If I had the opportunity to choose a compelling study that is
restricted by the reality of the
present and would make a major contribution to the well-being of children
and or their families, I would choose investigating, THE IMPACT OF EARLY INTERVENTION
FOR PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.
Conducting an investigation based on that topic would contribute
positively to teachers, children with special needs, and families of children
with special needs. Teachers will be able to have the tools (strategies) needed
for intervention and prevention. Special needs children will have long term
early success. They will become mainstreamed early on into the general
population of students. Families will know how to work with their children at
home, based on the recommendations of the teachers.
Hi LaNeisha,
ReplyDeleteGreat Topic!! There are not too many people that focus their time and attention to children with Special Needs, so I applaud you. This topic is so necessary in early childhood because we are seeing more and more children that are born and developing special needs. Keep up the good work. Best wishes in your future endeavors!
